Methotrexate with abatacept has little effect on clinical outcomes in RA

KEY POINT

No significant differences in clinical outcomes were observed in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who were treated with abatacept (Orencia—Bristol-Myers Squibb) with or without concomitant methotrexate (MTX), according to results of a retrospective study published in Clinical Rheumatology.
